5/5 This game was excellent all around. It stayed true to the source material of the show's character's and their personalities. The setting seemed believeable, and if there would be anywhere in that world where stuff like that would lurk it would probably be the Everfree Forest, so it fits into the logic of the game's world as well. As far as feeling like an NES game, what can I say? You nailed it perfectly! The only difference I might have made was to add shiners to the eyes (the white stuff that shows light reflecting off of them) to give the characters a little more feeling.

As far as creepypastas go...this was a brilliant and unexpected one that definitely caught me off guard until I saw the house. The story was also very good and you matched the use of tension perfectly! I was very scared for Applebloom and I got out of there faster than I normally would have been able to by far. The use of the NES style actually increased the fear factor I think, rather than decreased it. And I felt genuine relief at the end after the chase (Not going into details for the sake of spoilers.)

Excellent game and excellent creepypasta 5/5

Though this game appears to be a standard long-distance launch game. The pricing of the upgrades and the propulsion rate of the rocket and the doctor himself are very well balanced and finely-tuned. The game is a bit challenging, but that is something I believe is a good thing.

This game is excellent, and the controls are smooth. The gameplay is intrigueing and the storyline is engaging and has some good depth to it. But the rating should NOT be rated E due to the suicide and death content present within it. It is this kind of content that can be the most scarring for a young mind. I believe this should be rated T at minimum, but preferably M just to be on the safe side. But, for a mature mind that s prepared for it. This is a good game.

I thought this game was pretty good, it is nice and simple and the change of pace from all of the dramatic pieces that I have been playing was refreshing. The game is easy, but it does what it aims to do and manages to be fun while doing it.

Bigoted and offenseive. Normally I do not give 0 star reviews. But this I do not feel warrants any.

Okay, just as everyone else says, this game is very basic and there is not much to it. However, I do not find this to be much of a problem to be honest. I still find the game very fun and addictive. It is simple, but this makes it very straight-foreward and a good test of player endurance as well as reaction time in the later levels of the game. The game does not pretend to be like shooters or anything and it is this simple type of gameplay that I have not seen in a long time that attracted me to it and kept me playing. It also has an excellently executed speed increase curve on the zombies as they race down the screen, this makes the game flow very well from one level to the next. IMHO.

I am fairly certain that the graphics are intention to emulate a retro feeling. This game is simple, addictively attractive and is extremely difficult. I believe it would be more beneficial instead of automatically swapping back and both between the two weapon types, if you allowed the player access to both and allow them a choice whether to apply the upgrade to one or the other or both (with a lesser effect to both overall), this way there is more flexability for the player to respond to the given challenges.

I know that maze games are not everyone's cup of tea. But, I personally love a good maze, assuming that it is not super incredibly hard so as to be impossible. I believe that a game does not need flashy graphics or tons of action in order to be fun. Sure, ypou ened some, maybe alot of games with that, but you also need a good plain intellectual or logical challenge like this sometimes. I give this game a 5/5 for daring to be just that, a logical challenge without anything else tacked on just to add mindless violence. Music however...that would be good.

Before I comment about the game, there is the speculation about this recieving a place on the front page due to there being a monetary exchange. There is no definitive way to prove this is true, and even if it is, I don't blame Tom or whever up top decided to make the move. This site can not be cheap to run and if this is from money, then instead of harping on the administration about looking at dollar signs over real merit, I think we should consider that maybe it had to be done to keep Newgrounds independant. Think about how many sites get eaten by large companies these days, That isn't happening. Not saying I am a total fan of it....but if it needs to happen to keep Newgrounds independent and not taken over my Corporate Dotcom Inc then I am all for it.

Now as for this game, this game is not very good at all. I mean it is amazing that it is playable at all at the tiny size it is, but there is really no consistancy to it. Sure there is a tacked on storyline, but if you removed that and said you were a regular Joe at the archery range or a survivor of a zombie apocolypse, it would all be essentially the same game. There is very bad physics, and the bow does not move when you move the cursor around the screen , and somehow still makes the arrow hit. There is no curve to the arrow, and the scoring system seems somewhat odd. The gameplay itself does not match the storyline very well, and I was hoping for more of a direct relation between game itself and the story being told in the text boxes. Also, there is no sound at all, there should have at least been the sound for the arrows firing, them hitting and them missing. All in all, not a good first impression. I do not usually like to give a low score for games or anything, but this one is just incomplete. I would consider this the alpha for a real game.

I am not going to count you out for the future or anything, but there needs to much more in the way of content, asthetics and espescially storyline than there is currently in this game. I hope this review helps, thank you for taking the time to read and consider it.

I have to say that I love the art style and the basic premise behind this game. The main thing I believe is lacking in this game is a good storyline and characterization to fill ut the world and the characters in it. Why are they entering the cave. Clearly base don the title they are siblings, but what purpose made them decide to enter the tomb or ruins and begin to find the loot. They want wealth apparentlym, but there should be more of a story behind it all. Some cut-scenes would work especially well with a game like this, since it is implied that there are always at least two characters, you could easily have a fine story with their interaction with one another the environment. Another thing that might work would be to add a main villain. They might not need to show up until the end of the story, but there needs to be some kind fo greater focus to make the player want to play through all the levels.
